Thalassophobia

The final edit for the documentary turned out better than i had hoped it to.
I managed to capture the feelings of Mars better than expected whilst exaggerating those thoughts and feelings with ambient music, a blue filter to make a cold feeling into the film to show where his emotions are at when the topic of large bodies of water come up.
There were a couple of errors i ran in to when editing my documentary. I was using Sony Vegas Pro which i hadn't fully used to this scale before so for a lot of my editing time it required a fair amount of research to learn how to do fades, sound overlapping, creating text that would fade in and out so a majority of my time that i spent editing was used for research and trial and error.
Alternatively the software decided to crash on me multiple times when trying to play back an edit i had just done which meant i had to close the programme and start from where i was if the auto save feature didn't work. After again, some research, i had to change multiple settings within the software itself which again took a fair amount of time.
After the long battles with the software, i did manage to get the outcome that i wanted, as stated before, really capturing the essence of Mars' emotions.
