The final edit for the documentary turned out better than i had hoped it to.
I managed to capture the feelings of Mars better than expected whilst exaggerating those thoughts and feelings with ambient music, a blue filter to make a cold feeling into the film to show where his emotions are at when the topic of large bodies of water come up.
There were a couple of errors i ran in to when editing my documentary. I was using Sony Vegas Pro which i hadn't fully used to this scale before so for a lot of my editing time it required a fair amount of research to learn how to do fades, sound overlapping, creating text that would fade in and out so a majority of my time that i spent editing was used for research and trial and error.
Alternatively the software decided to crash on me multiple times when trying to play back an edit i had just done which meant i had to close the programme and start from where i was if the auto save feature didn't work. After again, some research, i had to change multiple settings within the software itself which again took a fair amount of time.
After the long battles with the software, i did manage to get the outcome that i wanted, as stated before, really capturing the essence of Mars' emotions.

Documentary FInal Idea
Overview - For my documentary i have decided to look into the fears of an individual and the impact this has on their life, how it came about and the personal effects of this fear.
My choice of individual is one of my peers Mars who has a phobia of the water, the deep oceans and even just falling into the sky. I'm going to get some information from him about his fear and the implications that have risen from this fear, does it stop him from going to the beach? swimming? and where did this fear come form?
Having the view of him just doing everyday activities will create a nice impact as it shows that it isn't a fear that just arises when he comes face to face with it but it is something that is with him every second of the day.
Within the documentary i want to also add in some sounds of the oceans, like waves and have videos of him stood looking at the river severn in worcester and then some close up shots for clarification, i may even open the documentary with this shot as an establishing shot of who its about and a slight insight into their fear with some J shots.

Create a first image impression, show the person as the first thing you see. creates a first impression.
Check List:

- express themselves, dress, decorate themselves, cultural status
- emetic views, how you see yourself whats this impact?
